Before You Start: Requirements
Before booking a virtual tour, make sure you have:
- A VNKIC account - You need to be signed in to book a tour
- A device with camera/microphone - Laptop, tablet, or smartphone
- Stable internet connection - For smooth video streaming
- A browser that supports Jitsi Meet - Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge

Step 1: Find a Property You're Interested In
Start by browsing our property listings:
- Go to the VNKIC homepage
- Use the search filters to find properties by:
- Location
- Price range
- Property type (House, Apartment, Villa, etc.)
- Number of bedrooms/bathrooms
- Click on any property card to view its details page
Step 2: Open the Booking Modal
Once you're on the property details page:
- Look for the agent card on the right sidebar
- Find the purple "Book Virtual Tour" button with a camera icon
- Click the button to open the booking modal
Note: If you're not signed in, you'll see a "Sign in to book" prompt instead. Click it to log in first, then return to the property page.
Step 3: Choose Your Preferred Date & Time
In the booking modal, you'll see a form with two fields:
Select Date and Time
- Click on the "When would you like to tour?" field
- A date-time picker will appear
- Choose a date and time that works for you
Important rules:
- The scheduled time must be at least 1 hour from now
- Pick a time when you'll be available for 15-30 minutes
- Consider the agent's working hours (typically 9 AM - 6 PM)
Add Special Requests (Optional)
- In the "Anything specific you'd like to see?" text area
- Type any special requests or areas you want to focus on
Example requests:
- "I'd love to see the kitchen area in detail"
- "Please show the backyard and garden"
- "Can you check the storage spaces?"
- "I'm interested in the natural lighting in bedrooms"
Step 4: Submit Your Booking
- Review your selected date/time and notes
- Click the "Book Virtual Tour" button
- Wait for the confirmation message
If successful, you'll see:
"Tour booking created successfully!"
Your booking status is now PENDING - the agent will review and confirm it.
Step 5: Track Your Booking Status
To check your booking status:
- Click on your profile avatar in the header
- Go to "My Virtual Tours" from the dropdown menu
- Or navigate directly to
/customer/my-tours

Step 6: Wait for Agent Confirmation
After submitting your booking:
- The assigned agent receives an instant notification
- They will review your request within 24 hours
- You'll receive a notification when they respond
Possible outcomes:
- Approved: Great! You're all set for the tour
- Rejected: Don't worry - the agent will provide a reason. You can book another time
- Rescheduled: The agent suggests a different time. Check the new date in your dashboard
Step 7: Join Your Virtual Tour
When your booking is APPROVED and it's time for your tour:
- Go to My Virtual Tours dashboard
- Find your approved booking
- Click the green "Join Tour" button
This will open a Jitsi Meet video room in a new tab where you'll meet with the agent.
Tips for a Great Virtual Tour Experience
Before joining:
- Test your camera and microphone
- Find a quiet space with good lighting
- Have your questions ready
- Close unnecessary browser tabs
During the tour:
- Enable your camera so the agent can see your reactions
- Don't hesitate to ask the agent to slow down or revisit areas
- Take screenshots if allowed
- Ask about the neighborhood, utilities, and HOA fees
Step 8: Provide Feedback (After the Tour)
Once your tour is complete, you'll be prompted to leave feedback:
